On July 31, 2026, Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Bin held a group meeting with Brunei’s Minister of Transport and Infocommunications Pengiran Dato Shamhary, Togo’s Minister of Digital Transformation Cina Lawson, Iranian Ambassador to China Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli, Sudanese Ambassador to China Omer Mohamed Ahmed Siddig, and Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the Vietnamese Embassy in China Hoang Van Tuan. Liu Bin witnessed the representatives of these countries sign the Agreement on the Establishment of the World Artificial Intelligence Cooperation Organization.
On the same day, Georgian Ambassador to China Paata Kalandadze and Tanzanian Ambassador to China Khamis Omar Suleiman signed the Agreement on the Establishment of the World Artificial Intelligence Cooperation Organization on behalf of their respective governments. On July 30, Dominican Ambassador to China Martin Charles signed the Agreement on the Establishment of the World Artificial Intelligence Cooperation Organization on behalf of the Government of Dominica.
