AI engineers are shaping how society interacts with technology, yet governance remains fragmented between technical and policy communities.
This talk introduces an anticipatory approach to AI governance, arguing that many risks arise not only from system failures, but from shifting social conditions. It outlines how engineers, industry, and policymakers can better anticipate and manage risks to ensure meaningful human control.
