Megha Shrivastava(India)
Assistant Professor at PES University, Bengaluru, India
Megha Shrivastava is currently an Assistant Professor at PES University, Bengaluru, India. She received her PhD from the Department of Geopolitics and International Relations, Manipal Institute of Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal, Karnataka, India. Her research focuses on technology policy, international relations, and global governance.Her research interests include China’s ICT policies, US technology policy towards China, great power conflict, AI governance, and global technology policy.
She is a recipient of the 2025 US-India Artificial Intelligence Fellowship awarded by Observer Research Foundation America, Washington, DC, and the Network of Advanced Study of China Fellowship awarded by the Bengaluru-based Takshashila Institution. She has previously been a visiting fellow at the Institute of National Defence and Security Research, Taipei, Taiwan, and is also an Affiliate Research Fellow at the International Centre for Cultural Studies, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, Hsinchu, Taiwan.
Her research interests include China’s information and communication technology (ICT) policies, U.S. technology policy toward China, great power competition, AI governance, and global technology policy.
During her visitstay toat the Center for Global Al Innovative Governance (CGAlG) and Fudan Development Institute (FDDI)FDDI, she will conduct research on AI governance, global technology policy, China’s ICT policies, and great power technology competition, with a particular attention focus onto the relationship between sustainable AI futures for the Global South and international technology governance.
Megha Shrivastava will be a visiting scholar at CGAIG and Fudan Development InstituteFDDI from June 1, 2026 to June 30, 2026.
